Sedona Wine Festival September 25 - 26, 2010 11am - 5pm Sedona Airport See classic cars in competition with each other - hot rods, antique cars and trucks, motorcycles and street cars from owners around the state of Arizona. The two-day wine festival, celebrates the wine growing industry of Arizona, particularly the wineries in the Verde Valley. The Sedona Winefest will include a food court with a variety of menu items and snacks throughout the day. The Sedona Arts Center will be there withe a dozen artists. Visitor will be able to join in and get on the pottery wheel to see if they can create a masterpiece. $12 entry fee will entitle you to a souvenir glass and 6 tasting tickets with additional tickets available at one dollar each. The wineries will be located in a separate tent where there will be music, munchies and information about wine associated activities. A variety of food vendors will also be there. Sedona Community Fair 35th Annual Fall Artisan's Festival September 24 - 26, 2010 Friday 4pm - 8pm Saturday & Sunday 9am - 5pm Pinetop/Lakeside, AZ This Festival is a large arts and crafts show with over 150 artists in attendance. All arts and crafts are handmade. Other events during the festival are Run to the Pines Car Show, Antique Show, Quilt Show and a 10K Run. $2.00 admission Pinetop/Lakeside Festival Rhythm & Ribs October 2, 2010 11am - 5pm 350 S. 12th Street Cottonwood, AZ The City of Cottonwood is proud to present nationally renowned and Grammy nominated Gin Blossoms as the headliner of this year's exciting and delicious event. Participating rib vendors include: Players Sports Bar and Grill, Grasshopper Grill, Bad Ass BBQ, Main Street Cafe and Pizzeria, Storyteller's and Hog Wild. Verde Valley Wineries will have booths set up to purchase a glass or bottle of wine as well as the beer garden. October 16 & 17, 2010 10am - 5pm Willcox, AZ Willcox Wine Country in conjunction with the Willcox Chamber of Commerce is showcasing its annual Willcox Wine Country Festival. the festival is a two-day event in Railroad Park on Railroad Avenue in historic downtown Willcox. The event will include food, music and, of course, wine. Wine tasting will be $10 for patrons over 21 and will include six tasting coupons and a commemorative Arizona Wine glass. Travel the world over and you would be hard-pressed to find a more spectacular gathering of artists than at the Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival. The streets of downtown Carefree are closed, making room for more than 165 artists. This festival holds the title of Arizona's largest wine-tasting event, featuring first-class wines from all over the world. Ensuring the festival addresses each of the senses, delicious food and mouthwatering chocolates can be found throughout the festival. Carefree November Festival Walkin' on Main November 14th, 2010 11am - 5pm Cottonwood, AZ A historic celebration of 89A. The Old Town Cottonwood Historic Disstrict, which sits between Jerome and Sedona, will be blocked off from traffic. Under two big tents will be a juried art show, surrounded by the charming galleries, shops and local foods. Live music plays throughout the day. The main stage will feature some of the state's best entertainers. Verde Valley winemakers will host an outdoor wine tasting on Main Street. Rounding out the event will be displays from local historical societies, antique and classic cars and self-guided historic tours of Old Town Cottonwood. Walkin' on Main December 3 - 5, 2010 10am - Dusk Tempe, AZ The Tempe Festival of the Arts is one of the oldest and biggest in the Valley. Encompassing nearly five city blocks, the festival is staged between 3rd Street and University on Mill Avenue. Along with art will be live musical entertainment with a number of well-known local musicians. There will be street performers, vendors and sponsor exhibits. Admission is FREE Discover the "art of wine" while viewing the 18 visual art categories at the Tempe Festival of the Arts. The Arizona Wine Growers Association will showcase Arizona wineries that will offer up to six tastings with the price of admission to the Arizona Wine Festival. Admission is $10 and includes a commemorative wine glass. Tempe Festival of the Arts 4th Avenue Winter Street Fair December 10 - 12, 2010 10am - Dusk Tucson, AZ The 4th Avenue Winter Street Fair is ablaze with fascinating sights and sounds as more than 400 arts and crafts artisans, musicians, exhibitors and food vendors take part in this three-day community celebration. 4th Avenue boasts over 100 locally owned businesses including many of Tucson's finest restaurants, clothiers, pubs, bookstores and retailers.
